Chromebook Support

• Chromebook is broken in some way.
• Chromebook is not able to connect to the student Wi-Fi.
• A student is unable to log in to their account.

TSI will take the Chromebook in for repair if necessary and provide a loaner until the device is fixed.

• Student forgot their charger and wants a loaner. We do not have chargers to loan out, but we can give them a loaner Chromebook for the class period. Students must return the loaner Chromebook at the end of the period.
   
• Student has OneNote or Canvas on their Chromebook, but is having problems using those apps. These issues are handled by Dave Lapetino, who is the district's director of instruction and innovation. His email address is dlapetin@hinsdale86.org.
   
• Student has lost/broken their stylus or charger. Students can purchase a new stylus or charger in TSI/Room 2501.
   
• Student is unable to log in to Infinite Campus. Please go to the main office (Room 122) for assistance.

• Make sure they have their student ID or a photo of it.
• Shut down and reboot their Chromebook. This simple fix tends to resolve many issues.

Central TSI will send a message to their student email account. Students may need to check their account's junk folder to access the message. 

Students should report the issue to their dean and/or the SRO and then come to TSI for a loaner Chromebook. We will loan them a Chromebook to use until their device is found OR the student’s account is charged for a new one.
