Dates to Know

April 14, 2026 – Distribution of Graduation Materials (During All Lunch Periods)

  • Announcements: During all lunch periods in the Student Commons

  • Cap & Gown Distribution: During all lunch periods in the Student Commons

  • Commencement Tickets: Tickets for the indoor commencement ceremony (in the event of inclement weather) will be distributed with caps and gowns

  • Class Rings: Rings will be sent directly to the homes of students who placed an order

April 17, 2026 – Prom

  • Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier

May 13, 2026 – Yearbook Distribution Day

May 18, 19, & 20 – Senior Attendance Days

  • Attendance is required for all Grade 12 students through May 20, 2026.

  • All financial obligations must be settled by the end of the school day on May 20, including athletic and/or activity fees.

  • Lockers must be cleaned out by the end of the school day on May 20. Seniors will not be permitted to re-enter the school building to clean out lockers after this date.

May 21, 2026 – Senior Scholarship Program & Commencement Events

  • Senior Scholarship Program:
    Auditorium, 8:30–10:00 AM

  • Graduation Rehearsal:
    Main Gymnasium, 10:30 AM
    Attendance is mandatory for all seniors participating in the commencement ceremony. Seniors must leave campus following rehearsal, as the school will remain in session for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors.

  • Senior Picnic:
    Near the bus turnaround off of 57th Street, immediately following graduation rehearsal
    Hosted by senior parents

  • Commencement Ceremony:
    Dickinson Field, 7:00 PM
    No tickets required; gates open at 5:30 PM

    Inclement Weather Plan:
    If weather requires the ceremony to be held indoors, the event will take place in the gymnasium. Students will receive four (4) tickets when they pick up their graduation materials. No additional tickets will be available.

    Families with more than four attendees are welcome to view the live-streamed ceremony in the auditorium on a large screen. Comfortable auditorium seating will be available, and no tickets are required. This is an excellent option for guests who may find gym bleacher seating uncomfortable.

Cap and Gown Information

Cap and Gown Information

Seniors must visit jostens.com to enter their cap and gown information and to order any additional items they may wish to purchase. There is no cost for the cap and gown through Jostens, as the cost is included in your school fees.

How to Order Your Cap and Gown:

  1. Go to www.jostens.com

  2. Select Shop Your School

  3. Enter your school name and state

  4. Scroll down and select Graduation / Shop

  5. If you only need the cap, gown, tassel, and stole, scroll down to Shop All Graduation Products

  6. Select Cap, Gown, Tassel, and Stole Unit – $0.00 (located near the bottom of the page by the tassels)

  7. When prompted to upgrade the tassel, select No Thanks

  8. Add Apparel: Select No Thanks if you do not wish to add apparel

  9. Add Announcements: Select No Thanks if you do not wish to add announcements

  10. Review your order and select Add to Cart

  11. Enter the student name

  12. Confirm that the order subtotal is $0.00

You do not need to submit payment for the cap and gown, as the cost is included in your school fees.
