Dates to Know
April TBD: distribution of graduation materials:
- Announcements on April TBD, 2023 - during all lunch periods
- Cap & Gown Distribution on April TBD, 2023 - during all lunch periods
- Tickets for an indoor commencement program, if inclement weather, will be distributed with the cap & gown.
- Rings will be sent directly to the homes of those that ordered one.
April 30: Prom
May 23, 24, 25: Senior Attendance Days
- Attendance expected for all grade 12 students through May 31
- All financial obligations must be cleared prior to the end of school day on Wednesday, May 25 in order to participate in the commencement. This includes Athletic and/or Activity fees and the return of textbooks received from the Educational Waiver program if applicable. Please bring Educational Waiver program textbooks to the Main Office.
- Lockers must be cleaned out by the end of day on Wednesday, May 31. Seniors will not be allowed into the building to clean out their lockers after May 31.
June 1 Senior Scholarship Program in the auditorium
- By invitation only
June 1: Graduation Rehearsal at 10:30 a.m. in the gymnasium
- If you choose to participate in the commencement ceremony, you must attend the mandatory graduation rehearsal on Thursday, June 1 at 10:30 a.m.
- Graduation rehearsal is scheduled for Thursday, June 1 at 10:30 a.m. in the gymnasium. Seniors must leave campus after rehearsal as school will still be in session for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors.
June 1: Senior Picnic on Grant Street Fields hosted by senior parents
June 1: Commencement Program 7:00 p.m.
- Dickinson Field, no tickets required, gates opening at 5:00 p.m.
- If there is inclement weather, the commencement program will be held in the gymnasium. Students will be given 4 tickets for when they picked up their graduation materials. There are no extra tickets available for the commencement program if the event is held inside.
Graduation Cap and Gown Information
Seniors, please go to jostens.com to enter your Cap and Gown information and to order any additional items you would like. There is no fee for the Cap and Gown through Jostens, the fee is covered through your $50.00 school graduation fee.
- Go to jostens.com and enter your school name
- Click on the GRADUATION tab
- Packages show up first, scroll down and hit SHOP NOW to see everything and look for the Cap and Gown Unit under the Cap and Gown Information. It shows $0.00.
- Click on Cap, Gown, Stole &; Tassel Unit to enter Height, Weight, Gender information.
- Choose Gifts For Grad if you like or choose No Thanks.
- Choose Review and Order – ADD TO CART – Enter Student Name – CHECKOUT

Distinguished Honors
Cum Laude: Students with a GPA of 5.0 or greater
Magna Cum Laude: Students with a GPA of 5.5 or greater
Summa Cum Laude: Top 2% of students based on GPA
Honor Orator: based on an audition of Summa Cum Laude students
Senior Speaker(s): Open to all students auditions begin after spring break
Order your Graduation Banner here. Banners will be on display at the graduation ceremony. Orders must be placed by May TBD, 2023.

Order a Class of 2023 yard sign from the Hinsdale Central Booster Club here. Orders MUST be placed by Tuesday, April TBD and will be available for pick up on April 15th. Cost is $17.
