Junior and Senior students may request a late arrival/early dismissal in lieu of a study hall that is scheduled 1st or 8th period. Late arrivals/early dismissals are not granted for study hall during the middle of the day or for students that are exempt from PE class for athletic, band, or medical exemptions.
Criteria for electing late arrival/early dismissal:
- Parent/Guardian must submit the request form - CLICK ON THE LINK
- Students must have their own transportation to/from school. An additional bus schedule will not be provided for students electing late arrival and/or early dismissal.
- Electing early release in no way entitles students to parking privileges on campus.
- Schedules will not be changed to accommodate students interested in late arrival and/or early dismissal.
- Students electing late arrival may not arrive at the building earlier than 5 minutes prior to the end of 1st.
- Students electing early dismissal must exit the building no later than 5 minutes after their last period ends.
- Allow a 72 hour (school day) turnaround time for the change to be viewed in Infinite Campus. If you do not see the modification please reach out to your counselor.
