School Photos

School Portrait day/s will be held on 9/23 (Freshman), 9/24 (Sophomores), 9/25 (Juniors) 9/26 (Seniors) during your student's English Class.

Families receive an email when your images are ready to view online (1-2 weeks after photo day). If you do not receive an email within that time, or have lost the email you can search for your gallery at vipis.com. If you need further assistance, contact VIP at support@vipis.com. You’ll be able to select your image for your yearbook (please remember to select a yearbook image by or before 11/29/2024 or VIP will select one for you). All orders will be delivered to your home.

Hinsdale Central High School Yearbook Retake Day Information

Yearbook Only Retake Day: October 25, 2024
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location in School: Room 216

Families, view your School Portraits, and select your yearbook/class picture before Retake Day!

To view your school portraits look for an email sent to you by “Visual Image Photography”, or go to vipis.com (student ID number may be required)
If a retake picture is needed, do not select a yearbook picture. Retake pictures will be taken on Friday, October 25th. This is only for students who have a need for a new picture or have not yet taken a Yearbook Portrait this year (all students must have a current portrait in order to appear in this year’s yearbook). Retake day photos will be added to your online image gallery and you’ll receive an email alert with new photos about a week after retake day
The final deadline to select a yearbook picture is November 7th for underclass students and seniors who only have photos that were taken at school on fall school picture day
The selection deadline for Seniors who had a VIP Premier Session is also December 22nd.
After these dates, VIP will choose a yearbook image for you

Hinsdale Central High School Class of 2025 Senior Portrait & Yearbook Photo Information

Visual Image Photography (VIP) is the official photographer of Hinsdale Central High School and is honored to be a part of your senior experience! In order to appear in the yearbook, all seniors must have their photo taken by VIP. Photographs submitted from other studios will NOT be accepted into the yearbook.

Yearbook Photo Selection Deadline
Your yearbook photo selection must be submitted to VIP by November 29, 2024 in order to appear in your school’s yearbook. If you do not select an image, one will be selected for you by VIP. This date is set by your school and cannot be extended. If you do not have a yearbook image taken by VIP, you will not appear in the yearbook.

Hinsdale Central High School Studio Sessions

SENIOR PORTRAITS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY: Please make an appointment online at www.vipis.com or you can contact VIP directly at support@vipis.com Walk ins will not be accepted.

Classic: $30 session fee.
This session is taken indoors only and is for one outfit. This session includes the yearbook photos and Cap and Gown portrait with a traditional background. You will receive 15-20 proofs to view and order from online within one week of your appointment. Your session fee is to pay for your photographer’s time and does not include any prints or packages. Apx. 10 min.

One Outfit: $50 session fee.
This session is for one outfit and includes the yearbook photos, Cap and Gown and up to three different backgrounds with different poses (from full length to close ups). You will receive 30-40 proofs to view and order from online within one week of your appointment. Your session fee is to pay for your photographer’s time and does not include any prints or packages. Apx. 20 min

Two Outfits: $90 session fee.
This session is for two outfits and includes the yearbook photos, Cap and Gown and up to four different backgrounds with different poses (from full length to close ups). You will receive 50-60 proofs to view and order from online within one week of your appointment. Your session fee is to pay for your photographer’s time and does not include any prints or packages. Apx. 45 min

Three Outfits: $125 session fee.
This session is for up to three outfits and includes the yearbook photos, Cap and Gown and up to five different backgrounds with different poses (from full length to close ups). You will receive 70-80 proofs to view and order from online within one week of your appointment. Your session fee is to pay for your photographer’s time and does not include any prints or packages. Apx. 75 min

Deluxe: $150 session fee.
This session begins with 45 min. studio session followed by a 45 min on-location outdoor session. This session is for up to 4 outfits. The Deluxe session also includes the yearbook photos and multiple poses in a variety of locations. You will receive 100-120 proofs to view and order from online within one week of your appointment and includes your Yearbook image portion as well as Cap and Gown portraits. Your session fee is to pay for your photographer’s time and does not include any prints or packages. Apx. 90 min.

For all sessions, Cap and Gown does NOT count as an outfit, it is provided at the studio for your session.

Hinsdale Central High School Yearbook Only Dates

If you do not plan on doing a premier session for senior portraits, please make sure to dress for your senior yearbook photo during your school picture day, this will be used for your senior yearbook photo if you do not do a premier session at our studio. You will not need an appointment for a yearbook photo at your school picture date(s) listed below. During the yearbook only session, seniors will have four to six proofs to choose from for your yearbook selection. You will receive an email within two weeks of your picture day to view your proofs and to place an order.
