Leaving & Entering

All students must remain in the school building for their entire day and after arrival at school unless excused by a Dean and their parent/guardian.  It is school policy that a student must remain in the building for lunch. Prior to leaving, all students must sign out at the Dean's Office (Room 125/127) after parent contact has been made. Students who violate these provisions will be considered truant. Students re-entering the building after an excused absence as well as simply arriving late to school must enter through the main entrance.  The main entrance is located by the flagpole on the 55th street side of the building.  There the student will receive a hall pass and then proceed directly to class.

Students who have been excused by their parent or guardian for all or any part of the school day should not be present in the building or on campus.

Illness During School Day
If a student should become ill during the school day, s/he must first go to the Nurse’s Office, Room 123. The nurse will contact the parent/guardian. If, with parental approval, it is determined that the student will go home, the student must report to the Deans’ Office prior to leaving.
