Closed Campus

Hinsdale Central High School has a “closed campus” policy which means that students must remain in the building for the entire day, with the exception of appointments for medical services, eye and dental care, funerals, and other unanticipated emergencies.  A pass to leave the school premises must be obtained from the Deans’ Office prior to a student leaving campus for any reason.  Please refer to the “Leaving & Entering” section.  Any student leaving the building without permission from the Deans’ Office will be subject to disciplinary action determined appropriate by the Dean.

Note:  It is school policy that a student must remain on school grounds for lunch.  Any other arrangements must have prior approval.
