The Social Work Department is the cornerstone of the intervention process. We receive referrals from teachers and other school personnel as well as parents and students. The referrals help us identify students whose lifestyle choices are interfering with their academic and social potential. We offer numerous services including:

offerings vary based on student interest)
a support counseling
a crisis intervention
a consultation to teachers and administrators
a assessment
a classroom presentations |

By acting as a liaison for parents, we can also provide referral resources for students who need outside counseling as well. If you are concerned about your son or daughter’s behavior or social-emotional issues, please contact the social work department.
The social workers have provided a Community Resource Guide that offers the names and information of public agencies in the community. The agencies provided address, but are not limited to, financial, legal, and healthcare assistance.
