Michael Litton comes to Hinsdale Central from Carl Sandburg High School in Orland Park, where he was a guidance counselor. While at Consolidated High School District 230, his responsibilities included building relationships with college admission representatives and programming for the district’s alternative learning community. Prior to school counseling, Michael taught business and special education classes, and was the vocational program coordinator for cooperative education classes. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Education from Illinois State University, Master of Arts in School Counseling from Lewis University, and obtained certification in Workforce Education Development and as a Learning Behavior Specialist. He is an active member of the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC) and the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC).
Michael is enthusiastic to join the guidance department team and looks forward to working with students and staff at Central.
