Cindy Rodkin’s background includes work in both college admission and high school guidance counseling.  Prior to coming to Central she worked as a college counselor/consultant at The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA), Homewood Flossmoor High School and the Latin School of Chicago.  Her college admission positions were at Grinnell College, Lake Forest College and Ripon College.  The combination of college and high school work gives Cindy valuable insight into the college selection process which she looks forward to sharing with Hinsdale Central students and parents.

Cindy is an active member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) where she recently completed a four year term on the Technology Committee and the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC) where she served as a delegate on behalf of our state and is a member of the Admission Practices Committee.  Cindy also served a three year term on The College Board Midwest Regional Council.

Cindy received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ripon College and a Master of Education degree and School Counseling Certificate from Loyola University-Chicago.
